In December, TikTok started a restaurant. They will make food at home and then bring it to you to eat. It is called TikTok Kitchen. My kids really like that app.
The company announced the partnership with Virtual Dining Concepts to launch delivery-only TikTok Kitchen locations across the country starting in March. The company plans to open 1,000 eateries within the first year.
We’re helping restaurants that are owned by popular people who have gained huge followings on YouTube. People can order meals online and pick them up with their phones quickly and easily.
Robert Earl hopes to open 300 restaurants like Mr. Beast in the next year or so. He thinks he’ll have more than 1,000 by the end of 2022. He thinks it will be as popular as Mr. Beast.
Earl owns restaurants like The Buca di Beppo, and he can use the app to find chefs to make his food. The TikTok food menu will be made of trending dishes that you can get at the Virtual Dining Concept, like baked feta pasta. You can also order a smash burger or rib-shaped corn.
The menu will change every three months to start. If a dish starts going viral, the chef will probably add it to the menu. Maybe the spinach feta pasta won’t remain on the menu.
TikTok invited a lot of restaurants to create meals and sell them on their app. They will split the money they make with TikTok. They’re doing this to help restaurants and to encourage people to watch cooking videos on TikTok.
You know what TikTok is. A popular app. The company is not saying if it will make money from this. It will list the names of creators of certain viral dishes but won’t list the names of creators of other viral dishes. So, we don’t know yet if sold dishes will make money for people who create them.
It’s hard to own a restaurant. It has lots of expenses, and it’s hard to make money. But Mr Beast is planning to open his own restaurant.
